In the 2019-2020 fiscal year, we partnered with participants to secure 116 job placements. StepUp Durham graduates were employed in approximately 54 days at an average wage of $13.14/hour. The challenges faced by those we serve range from 56% justice involved, 53% living in a shelter or homeless, and/or 34% in recovery. We served over 93 individuals and their children in our Step2 program. We were able to support 29 families with emergency funding around COVID related issues.
We acknowledge the hard work and accomplishments of our participants, and we are grateful for the contributions from our generous donors that invested in Durham job seekers!
